Why Yamaha Motor Boats?
Among motor boat enthusiasts, Yamaha motor boats are highly prized. The Yamaha brand is well respected for quality and performance, and has a long reputation in the motoring industry.
Genichi Kawakami was the first president of Yamaha Motors. He began his career making motorcycle engines, stating 1953, “I want to carry out trial manufacture of motorcycle engines.” He had vision, and set goals to work toward, and he set a standard for his company that has continued for over half a century.
Genichi felt that the most important thing to take into consideration when building a product is the standpoint of the people who would be using the product. This was reflected in the fact that Yamaha expanded out of Japan into Thailand and Mexico in 1966, and continued into Brazil and the Netherlands two years later.
Because of their location, Yamaha was able to find out what the people living in these countries really wanted and needed, based on their national sensibilities and customs. In this way, the products were tailored to their market, and were hugely successful.
At the close of the ‘60s, Yamaha was a well developed company that had a good reputation for quality in the global market. One might think that Genichi had then achieved success, but at this point he looked to improve his company even more.
The change to be made now, was to develop new ideas. He was not satisfied with just a reputation for quality because of his uncanny ability to see what would happen in the future market. He stated that, “In the future, a company’s future will hinge on ideas over and above quality. Products that have no character, nothing unique about them, will not sell no matter how well made or affordable.” He believed that any company not keeping up with new ideas and innovations would not make it in the times ahead.
With principles like this to back a company, success is almost guaranteed. Yamaha did move forward, expanding with new ideas and products, still being sure to meet the requirements of the consumers, but ever ready to move forward with something new.
Yamaha has long been the standard in motorcycles and other such sport vehicles, and it is also well known in the boating industry.
Yamaha motor boats are known for their speed and performance. They set a standard for other speed boats and satisfy all the desires of a serious motor boat buyer. With over a half a century of experience in producing top quality motor vehicles, and with a consistently good reputation, a Yamaha motor boat is a great choice for those in the market for a new speed boat.
With a name like Yamaha under your feet, you can feel confident that you have made the best possible choice for your boating needs. And that you will have many enjoyable days on the lake or sea ahead of you!
